What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small file that is passed from a website to an end user’s computer or mobile device. Cookies are also used to keep track of your preferences and works in progress (such as items in an online shopping cart).
You can learn more about cookies and web tracking from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
