What is the Konek Waitlist Contest?
Konek is Canada’s way to pay, and the Konek Waitlist Contest could be your chance to win one of five once-in-a-lifetime exclusive experiences—from a flight in a private jet to dinner at one of Canada’s hottest restaurants to a close encounter with real, live polar bears.
How do I enter the Waitlist Contest?
You will be eligible to participate in the Waitlist Contest when you sign up for Konek (existing Konek members are also eligible to participate). To sign up for Konek, you’ll need to log in through a participating bank and link your eligible chequing or savings account to activate your Konek account. Currently, Konek is offered through the following participating banks: Bank of Montreal (BMO), Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD Bank), Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), National Bank of Canada (National Bank) and The Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank). An alternative method of entry is also available, see the Complete Contest Rules and Regulations for details. To enter, you must select the Waitlist Contest category that you would like to be entered into. There will be a corresponding prize draw for each of the Waitlist Contest categories.
Can anyone enter the Waitlist Contest?
The contest is only open to legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) that have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. You will be eligible to participate in the Waitlist Contest when you sign up for a Konek account at one of the following banks: BMO, TD Bank, RBC, National Bank and Scotiabank. What if my bank isn't listed as a participating bank offering Konek?
Unfortunately, if you currently do not bank with any one of the participating banks offering Konek, you are not eligible to register for Konek. We encourage you to continue to visit konek.ca for updates on bank availability and more.
Can I enter into more than one Waitlist Contest category?
Sorry, but you’ll have to pick just one. The good news is that there’s no bad choice on the list.
Can I change my Waitlist Contest Category?
Once you’ve signed up, you’re locked in. Don’t worry, though. The lucky winner in each Contest category will not be disappointed by any of these experiences.
I’ve already signed up for Konek. Can I still enter?
Yes! If you’ve already signed up for Konek, you’re one step ahead. All you have to do now is enter into the Waitlist Contest, select one of the Contest Waitlist Categories and agree to be bound by the Contest Rules & Regulations. To verify that you’ve entered into the Waitlist Contest, when you log into your Konek profile, you’ll see that you’ve entered into the Waitlist Contest under your Konek profile set-up.
Do I need to buy anything?
There’s no purchase necessary nor is there any fee for entry. Your account will not be charged during the registration process. An alternative method of entry is also available, see complete Contest Rules & Regulations for more details.
What can I win?
Once you’ve entered, you could win your chosen Waitlist experience. You’re also eligible for any of the While You Wait Offers, subject to availability.
Can I still win a Waitlist Contest prize if I receive a While You Wait Offer?
Yes! As long as the contest is active, you can participate in as many While You Wait Offers as you like, subject to availability, and still be eligible for a chance to win your chosen Waitlist experience.
When does the Waitlist Contest end?
Contest closes November 20, 2026. We will contact the potential winners by email before December 31, 2026.
